FRANK STREPPEL

Frank Streppel is Global Head of Investment – Impact Private Debt & Equity at Triodos Investment Management. He started his banking career with ABN AMRO Bank in the Netherlands, followed by a position as Financial Controller for Médecins Sans Frontières in Sri Lanka. Mr. Streppel has worked in impact investing since the 1990s, predominantly along the themes of financial inclusion, sustainable energy & climate, and sustainable food & agriculture. Mr. Streppel joined Triodos Investment Management in 2000, initially taking on the responsibility for investments in the African and Asian financial sector. As Global Head of Investments, he is responsible for the global Impact private debt & equity portfolio, consisting of debt facilities, equity participations and project finance to a total value of more than EUR 2 billion. Mr. Streppel has served as a board member of leading financial institutions in India, Mongolia, Uganda, Kenya, Madagascar, Tanzania, DRC Congo and Georgia.
